As a lifelong Los Angeles County resident, I learned the value of hard work at an early age by helping my father in his metalworking shop. He was a proud blue-collar craftsman who welded and forged steel, creating custom lamps, gates, doors, display racks, and more. Some of my earliest memories are of wearing a welding helmet, watching sparks fly, and learning firsthand that success comes through discipline, effort, and perseverance. Those lessons shaped my character and taught me to be resourceful, solution-oriented, and unafraid of hard work
As a lifelong Los Angeles County resident, I attended local public schools and college and remain deeply connected to our diverse communities and their needs.
As a proud father of two, I have also had the privilege of raising my children here and passing on the same values my father gave me—hard work, respect, responsibility, and service. My children also attend local public schools and community college, continuing our family’s roots in this community.
I earned an Associate of Science in Behavioral Science and a Bachelor of Science in Business from California State Polytechnic University, Humboldt. In addition to my academic background, I served in the United States Marine Corps, worked at City of Hope, managed operations within a Fortune 500 company, and lead an internationally publicly traded company as Chief Executive Officer.
My commitment to public service includes serving as Mayor, Vice Mayor, and Councilmember for the City of La Puente, where I fought to improve quality of life within the city by delivering tangible results for residents. I've also serve as a board member of La Puente Valley Water District, which is responsible for pumping, treating, and delivering safe, reliable water to our communities.
Now, I am ready to bring that same experience, commitment, and determination to Los Angeles County as your next Supervisor. I will champion transparency and accountability, fix broken policies, improve struggling programs, and deliver measurable results that protect the welfare, health, and safety of every resident in Los Angeles County.
