My Experience 

As an elected water district board member for nearly six years, I’ve helped oversee the treatment of one of the most contaminated aquifers in the nation. I understand how to develop and implement policies that ensure safe, reliable drinking water—because I’ve done it.

The Challenge 

• Declining capacity of the California Aqueduct due to land subsidence

• Growing threats to the State Water Project and regional supply reliability

• Invasive golden mussels damaging pipes, pumps, and water systems

• Increased risk of service disruptions impacting public health and the economy

My Plan

• Strengthen Infrastructure: Advocate for restoring and maintaining the California Aqueduct to ensure long-term reliability

• Protect Water Systems: Implement policies to prevent and respond to invasive species like golden mussels

• Ensure Reliability: Safeguard consistent water delivery for residents, businesses, and agriculture

• Plan for the Future: Advance sustainable water management strategies to address drought and climate challenges
